UK Club Softball
About
This is our 10th year as a team and our 9th official year in the NCSA (National Club Softball Association). In our 2013-2014 season we were able to achieve first in our conference, third at the regional tournament (for which we got an at-large bid for World Series) and we placed in the top 12 at the World Series tournament in Columbus, Georgia. In our 2014-15 season we were able to earn second in our conference and ended with a winning record of 13-4. In the 2015-2016 season our team accomplished first in conference, held on to our national ranking, and went on to compete in the regional tournament where we fell to OSU and JMU. In the 2018-2019 season, we were able to host our very first tournament in Georgetown, KY in the spring. Our team placed second at the 9 team tournament we hosted. We won our conference, which gave us a berth to the regional tournament. At Regionals we placed 3rd. In the 2019-2020 season we were on track to make it to the regional tournament until the COVID-19 Pandemic hit. The Pandemic also cancelled our 2020-2021 season. In the upcoming season, we are looking for a fresh start and more accomplishments.
